The Lenovo Ideapad 310 is a mid-range laptop that has some really good features and at the same time, some of its features needs improvement. Let's just take a look at some of its, so-called price worthy features which include apt performance, and the excellent storage capacity. However some of its back draws are a real deal breaker and cannot be ignored like the below-par battery backup, and lack of Full HD display. Thus, one needs to take into account all of the above details and make an informed decision.

Display and Storage

The Lenovo Ideapad 310 features a 15.6 inch HD LED Backlit display with a native screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is available in Black colour option and weighs of 2.19kg which is slightly on the heavier side. For meeting the storage requirements the device comes with a storage capacity of 1TB accompanied with a speed of 5400 RPM.

Configuration and Connectivity

The key facet of any device is its performance quotient and speaking of the performance of this laptop it is powered by an Intel Core i3-7100U (7th gen) processor steered along with a clock speed of 2.4Ghz. The presence of 4GB DDR4 RAM lends the smoothness to the entire process of multitasking.

The graphics requirements are taken care of by the Intel HD 620 graphics processor. The connectivity aspect of the device includes few regular options like- wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/a, and Bluetooth v 4.1. Some of the other regular features that are present in this device include- an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.

Battery, Camera and Input Device

The battery component of the device needs some real improvement, as it is equipped with a 2 cell Li-ion battery which lends a below-par battery backup. For video calling it has a 0.3MP webcam which provides a decent quality video calling. The regular input device that is present in this laptop includes- a DVD R/W writer, a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support,  a standard notebook keyboard and a fingerprint scanner.
