Lenovo Ideapad 510s (80UV006MIH) Laptop (Core i5 7th Gen/4 GB/1 TB/Windows 10/2 GB)

I wanted a slim and light weight laptop with either a 14 or less inch screen size that could do a decent gaming. After so much research i decided to get this because it was as i desired and under budget . It does have some pros and cons.The display is undoubtedly the best feature of this laptop . It's IPS LCD , it has got great viewing angles. The graphic card is mentioned as r7 m460 . In the amd settings panel it was mentioned like that until a software update, after which it is now showing as r7 m360 . But it's alright for me . It can handle games decently. But it has only 4gb ram , so demanding titles will struggle. If u can upgrade it to 8gb ram , games and regular usage performance will definitely improve.with stock ram , i was getting 40fps in cod advanced warfare at medium settings at 720p , 30fps at same settings for watch dogs , around 35 fps at same settings for gta 5. And yeah it is a ddr4 ram and it has only one slot . Talking about battery, it has got 45wH battery , and it has a usage voltage of 8.6w , so in theory u must be getting around 5 and half hours and i did get that much during first few days of usage but now , after few months I'm now getting only around 3hrs with normal usage . The keyboard and track pad is decent. The body , Its a mix of aluminum and polycarbonate and it seems to be durable . It's 1.7 kgs but it's not light weight as i wished . The laptop heats up a little more than i would like but its totally normal . The 7th gen i5 definitely makes the laptop run smooth . The speakers are by harman and they sound pretty good , not very good though. So if u could upgrade the stock 1tb hard drive to ssd and the ram to 8gb , this is the best ultrabook at 14 inch at this price . If screen size and form factor isn't a deal for u then u can get far better laptop than this .
