The Lenovo B50-70 (59-425871) is an affordably priced laptop with the ability to render mediocre performance only. The presence of fingerprint scanner is a big bonus considering its price. But it's the sound battery that makes it a winner in this price.

The Lenovo B50-70 (59-425871) features a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is wrapped in a black outfit with a thickness of 27mm and a weight of 2.5kg. The fingerprint scanner enables you to unlock the device without typing any password.

CPU and Platform

On the inside, the Lenovo B50-70 (59-425871) is loaded with a 1.7GHz Intel Pentium dual-core 3558U processor from the fourth generation  and based on HM65 Express chipset. It is paired with a 2GB DDR3 RAM which is further expandable up to 8GB via two DIMM ports. The inbuilt Intel HD 4000 GPU takes care of intensive games and movies. It is devoid of any user friendly OS which is okay in light of its price.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

Armed with a 1.3MP webcam, the Lenovo B50-70 (59-425871) can be used for enjoying high resolution video calls smoothly. It accounts for the storage needs of the user with a regular 500GB SATA hard disk running at 5,400rpm.
