The Lenovo Thinkpad E470 (20H1A016IG) is a splendid laptop with superb configuration.It has almost everything which one expects in this budget. Although, it misses out full HD display and is non convertible but still stands out to be a profitable buy, as the performance, display quality and sound output is very good, you can go for it.

When performance is the real demand

Display and Configuration

The Lenovo Thinkpad E470 (20H1A016IG) laptop flaunts a 14-inch HD LED backlit anti glare dIsplay and features a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. For driving the system, there is an Intel core i5 7th gen processor powered at a clock speed of 2.5GHz. There is also an 8GB of DDR4 RAM which can be further increased upto 16GB using two DIMM slots. In terms of viewing experience, the 2GB Nvidia Geforce 940M graphics engine outputs superb picture clarity. The device boots on Windows 10 operating system and is available in two colours - silver and black.

Camera, Input Devices and Storage

The device is armed with a 720p HD webcam, letting the user to enjoy video calling and do recording. The laptop packs in two input devices - touchpad with multi-touch gestures support and full-sized and spill-resistant keyboard. A 1TB SATA HDD with 5,400RPM speed is present, letting the user to save a collection of data files.

Battery and Connectivity

The device sips its juice from a 3 cell li-po battery which claims to render a backup up to 8.4 hours. For networking and sharing, the device offers options such as Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 2.0 slot, two USB 3.0 slots, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and  4-in-1 reader (MMC, SD, SDHC, SDXC).
