Verdict

The Lenovo Thinkpad E485 comes with premium features. It has been provided with a nice processor which can satisfy the users with the fast and lag-free performance. The battery backup is ample to provide a long time power backup. However, there is no dedicated graphic which can be a drawback, especially for such a high price-tag.

Display and Configuration

The Lenovo Thinkpad E485 comes with a 14-inch LED display having a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels which can render a decent viewing experience. It has been provided with the HD Anti-Glare LED which is soothing to the eyes so that it does not irritate after a long hours use. Under the hood, it has been equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 Quad Core 2500U processor having a clock speed of 2.0GHz which can provide a good performance. It is further assisted by the AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics and an 8GB RAM that will provide an amazing multitasking experience. The laptop runs on a Windows 10 Professional operating system.

Battery and Connectivity

In terms of the power backup, the Lenovo Thinkpad E485 comes with a Li-ion battery having 3 cells. It can give an ample power backup to last for a long time. For the connectivity, it features a number of options such as wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 3.0 slots, SD card reader, microphone jack and headphone jack.

Storage, Camera and Input device

To keep the files and data of the users, it has been provided with the 256GB SSD capacity which is decent. There is a webcam that is located at the top of the bezel which can assist users for video calling and recording HD quality videos. For the input device, there is a touchpad which is multi-touch gestures enabled and a standard notebook keyboard
