The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E540 (20C600BXAU) is a powerful laptop for carrying out professional tasks and comes at a decent price. While the powerful processor handles everything smoothly, the latest Windows OS makes everything easy. A better display would have made it more attractive.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E540 (20C600BXAU) sports a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit anti glare display which has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and provides clear viewing experience even under the sun. The simply designed black coloured unit has a thickness of 29.7mm and a weight of 2.4kg.

Processor and OS

On the inside, the laptop is loaded with a 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor from the fourth generation and based on HM87 Express chipset. Assisting it is a regular 4GB DDR3 RAM which operates at 1,600MHz and is further expandable up to 16GB via two DIMM ports. Rich games and videos are managed by the integrated Intel HD 4600 GPU. It sails on 64 bit Windows 8.1 OS to offer intuitive user experience.
