Display and Body

The Lenovo Essential G50 (59-442243) poses a 15.6-inch HD WLED backlit Flat Glare eDP display which offers greater amount of brightness and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The black coloured outfit looks stylish with textured finish on the lid and brushed keyboard deck. It has a thickness of 25mm and a weight of 2.5kg.

Processor and Platform

On the inside, the laptop is packed with a 1.9GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the fourth generation and based on HM87 Express chipset. Assisting it is a regular 4GB DDR3 RAM which functions at 1,600MHz and is further expandable up to 16GB via two DIMM slots. For better management of rich games and videos, it depends on integrated Intel HD 4400 GPU. It is devoid of any user friendly OS which is okay in this price point.
