Lenovo essential G505s (59-379862) Laptop (AMD Quad Core/8 GB/1 TB/DOS/2 5 GB)

Sadly, I had a tight budget to start with... But I have been tracking this product since the day it probably appeared on Flipkart!! since it seemed to fit in very well.. My Part of story: 1. I am an hardcore gamer!! 2. I m a lenovo fan.. ( my last laptop was Lenovo R61, which some dirty guy stole) What this product gives me: 1. APU Quad Core A8... (Core i3 would have been better though!!.. I searched a lot for same 'everything else' with i3 processor even for 5k more, but unfortunately there are none!) 2. 2.1 GHz with Turbo Core Technology Upto 3.1 GHz: For guys who just want to know it simple... Its good (not awesome, coz I seriously doubt its boost tech) 3.4MB cache: LoL!! what else do u need for a faster response from your system!! :D 4.8GB DDR3: need I say something about this!! :P... This is hell of a memory at this price!! 5.1TB Hard disk space: U know it falls short when u start with all the series on earth(that too HD)... Plus, the games ain't taking lesser space too!! 6."GDDR3": wonder why I din't specify the name of the card! jlt!!! For those who don't know what ATI Sunpro is, it is the same as the ATI Raedon 8000 series 8750 graphics card, well.. this is an entry level graphics card which can help u play games as good as crysis3 and farcry 3 at recommended level, the fps may be a bit slow due to the additional integration of 512MB card. I fee there would be a problem of "micro stutter"(more than one frame appearing while u play). But till now it works fine on one of my friend's system!! :) I don't feel people want anything else in the reviews.. Sorry if I missed something.. Cheers all!! I've bought a Lenovo G505s from Flipkart in July. After setting up the laptop I realized that speaker was not working. I called Flipkart and reported the same. After numerous follow-ups they called back after 3 days and asked me to take it to a service station. I argued that this being a new laptop should be replaced. Same was honored and I got a replacement laptop on July 19th. The replacement laptop also has issues. After using for 2-3 weeks I am seeing that laptop is shutting down due to excessive heating. CPU temperature is around 95 degrees centigrade, which is abnormal. Either product itself is not good or flipkart is shipping me faulty products. Twice it has happened. It takes me quite some time to set-up the laptop. I have been trying to contact them from 9th Aug but getting a message "today being public holiday there will be delay in response", but actually no one is answering the call and there is no response on email too. Flipkart I am really frustrated. Sep 8, 2013 Thanks to Flipkart for returning my money. bad on Lenovo part for not sending a service engineer for checking out the laptop. Would buy from flipkart again.
