As per the Lenovo essential G570 (59-311522) Laptop review, the configuration can be easily claimed to be quite mediocre. The only good thing is the presence of a preloaded Windows operating system, even though it is dated. The laptop is good for basic usage, but not beyond that.

Display and Build

The Lenovo essential G570 (59-311522) Laptop exhibits a 15.6-inch HD LED Brightview display of (1,366 x 768) pixels resolution. It has a waistline of 35.5mm and weighs around 2.6Kgs that is quite uneasy to carry around. However, the glossy finish and the modern design gives it an enticing look. 

Configuration and OS

The device is configured with 1.5GHz of Intel Celeron dual-core B800 processor along with 2GB of DDR3 RAM. As per the user’s requirements, the RAM can be further expanded up to 8GB through 2 DIMM slots. It also has in,built Intel HD Graphics. The preloaded 64-bit Windows 7 operating system is the positive side of the laptop. 

Multimedia and Storage

The 0.3MP webcam along with an inbuilt microphone is good for video calling and chatting. Taking care of the storage needs of the user is a 320 GB SATA HDD that functions at 5,400 RPM.

Battery and Connectivity

The power source of the laptop is quite decent, having a 6 cell Li-ion battery that claims to deliver 3 hours of backup. For internet connectivity the device comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and an Ethernet port. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth v2.1, three USB 2.0 slots, an HDMI port, a digital media reader, a VGA port, etc.
