This is a nicely built, beautifully designed 7-inch tablet budget tablet. Design-wise, it's one of the best in its class. However, where it really shines is its build quality: its body is made of plastic with a rubberised finish at the back that may not stand up to high quality products such as iPads but it is not flimsy and looks and feels much better than the Nexus 7 or Samsung's tablets. There's supposedly an internal roll cage though I cannot comment on its usefulness except to say that its intended to prevent damage to the internal parts in case you drop it. As for other aspects of the device, see below:nnPros: n1. Excellent WiFi reception. n2. 16 GB internal memory (great considering its price). n3. Dual SIM slots (2G & 3G, though I'm quite confused as to why there are two SIM slots). n4. Decent processor and RAM. n5. Front and back cameras. n6. Stereo speakers that are, again, decent. n7. Micro SD card slot.nnCons: n1. Bad viewing angles. When you hold it in portrait mode and you hold it at an angle, the screen is unreadable from the right side. However, there does not appear to be any serious problems when viewed from the other sides. It should be noted that this is not an IPS screen and you should not get your hopes too high. The resolution is also worse than that of the Nexus 7. n2. Bloatware. Lenovo has included several apps that are not too bad but these cannot be uninstalled or deleted. n3. Lenovo's custom skin. This is perhaps the main reason why you might feel the tablet is sluggish. I couldn't get rid of it but I've worked around it by installing a custom launcher. There's virtually no lag now. n4. No Gorilla glass. n5. Ice Cream Sandwich, not Jelly Bean (no word on upgrade to JB).nnOverall Virdict: For the price one can't really complain. Please don't try to compare it to the Nexus 7 or the iPad Mini as this is a $150 device while the Nexus 7 (4G model) costs $250. My biggest gripe is the viewing angle. I would suggest you try it out or see some YouTube videos before commiting. Other than this, I think this is an excellent tablet CONSIDERING the PRICE.
Bought this tablet 2 weeks ago for my friend.nWhat he need is a tablet in cheap rate with a good branding.nSo he choose Lenovo.n The things I like with this tablet is as followsn1).Good battery backup - gives more than 8 hours .n2).Dual sim optionsn 3).ambient light sensor.n4).2MP camera is not badnnBut the biggest problem is , it doesn't support any USB devices, I tried many OTG cables to try if this device supports keyboards , mouse , or pen drive.nBut it doesn't .nCan't even connect a pen drive ....? That sucks.nIn Lenovo's site they say USB accessories are supported , what are those accessories ?Charger and data cable ?nAnd this tablet is getting slow in most functions.nGames like GTA Vice City can be run only in the lowest settings! Because this tab has no dedicated graphics chip set.nnBuy this tablet only if you need longer battery backup and sim support.nIf you need performance ? pendrive, keyboards support ? Then go for another tab.nnI am writing this using Lava Xtron tablet , it has lesser battery life , but it is a better performer with many USB devices support.
