On 20/5/ 2013, I bought a Lenovo Tablet A 2107A (Serial No: XD00993428) through Flipkart Now It is showing some serious issues and the system is not coming to ON state. on 15 april, I had raised a service request by sending a mail to lenovo customer care. After raising the service request I went to the Lenovo service centre in Trivandrum, for getting my tablet serviced.The response I got from the Lenovo service center executive was disappointing as they updated me saying that the product is out of warranty, while the truth being I was still in the warranty period After a series of telephonic conversations and emails the Lenovo customer care accepted to perform the service under warranty. After handing over the product to the service centre, the service engineer updated me that the service cannot be performed under warranty as the problem was identified finding a liquid drop. This is quite unbelievable as the product was used by me with protective covers and I dont see a chance of liquid drop getting inside. Being at the brim of the warranty period closure, they are prolonging the service by bringing up lame excuses. As stated above from the first instance it is a negative approach I had from the service center.It is hardly one year since I bought the product, and the service center is asking me to pay a sum of Rs8,000/- for fixing the issue. Instead of paying this amount i can always go for an option of buying a new tab of a better brand. I trusted the brand name Lenovo and my experience is highly disappointing. Having had a tough time with the Lenovo product I would never suggest this product or the brand to any of my aquaintances.
Very Bad experience with Lenovo Service Center Trivandrum. The service is Pathetic , Unnecessary delays and very unprofessional. They dont even have a service engineer right now in Trivandrum.
