The Lenovo ThinkPad L540 (20AV004FAU) carries a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit display with a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It boots 64 bit Windows 7 Professional OS, designed for business.

At the heart of the device, there is a 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 processor from the fourth generation and based on QM87 Express chipset. Together with 8GB DDR3 RAM operating at 1,600MHz, the laptop has the efficiency to make light of anything coming in its way. The RAM is further expandable up to 16GB via one unused DIMM slot. Rich games and videos are managed by the inbuilt Intel HD 4600 GPU.

Camera, Storage and Others

The Lenovo ThinkPad L540 (20AV004FAU) accounts for the video calling needs of the user with a 720p webcam. For storage purposes, there is a 500GB SATA hard disk which operates at 7,200rpm and provides superior response. You can also load files and on disks and retrieve them when required via DVD RW Drive.

The laptop comes with a full size spill resistant keyboard with trackpoint, a unique feature of ThinkPad laptops, besides a touchpad. The fingerprint scanner enables you to unlock the gadget without troubling the keyboard.
