Lenovo Ideapad S510p (59-383309) Laptop (Core i5 4th Gen/4 GB/500 GB/DOS)

My friend bought this laptop with my recommendation. This review is not about the quality of the product, but about the warranty of the product. When we bought this product for 36800, it was advertised that the laptop has 2 year extended FREE. We went to the local store and it was priced around 39800 for the same product. So, there was nothing wrong with our decision to go for flipkart. We received the product within 2 business days and everything went fine. Then, we registered the product in lenovo and came to realize that the product only has 9 months warranty left. Warranty is important to us and we are totally disappointed about it. NB: I do not know whether it is the problem with my browser or something, lenovo's website was totally unimpressive. There were some drop down menus with 6 null values and I still don't know how it worked. When I am checking, the warranty, it is showing that the warranty is valid only upto 23rd april 2015, while we have bought the product last week. I wrote a query to flipkart 24 x 7 customer care(I still don't understand what they meant by 24 x 7) , which still hasn't replied to my query regarding the warranty. The status holds even after a week!

I got this laptop in 35k.Decent design.Good for programming and entertainment as well.15.6" screen nsize .led display is nice.processing speed is also good. 4GB RAM and core i5 combo is awesome.nThe only thing that i am disappointed with is the keyboard.It seems fragile.And the sound is also not that good. Overall good for personal use.
