Lenovo Ideapad Z50 (59-427802) Laptop (Core i5 4th Gen/8 GB/1 TB/Windows 8 1/4 GB)

I am very satisfied with this laptop. Also the Flipkart delivery was commendable. I had ordered on Friday evening and they delivered on Sunday morning in Bangalore. This is to note : - Flipkart has put an incorrect picture. This laptop, as mentioned in the specifications, comes in Silver. Flipkart ! please update the correct picture.It's very important to view the correct product. - It comes with a laptop bag, but Flipkart does not mention that. Flpkart, please add this info. It is better to be sure than to assume that a bag would come. - Flipkart is displaying 8 GB DDR3 (1.5V) RAM but it is 8 GB DDR3L (1.35V). This is not important to someone hoping to use the provided 8 GB only but if you are planning to add another 8 GB into the vacant slot which comes with this laptop then please buy a 4/8 GB DD3L 1600 MHz RAM. Flipkart, please update the specs on the site !! - The Laptop uses the Intel 4400 Graphics card coming as Integrated (upto) 2 GB RAM (shared from the default system RAM + the 4 GB Dedicated Nvidia 840M). We can configure the 4 GB for the games and anything we wish to offload from the regular CPU keeping it free from Graphics rendering. - Webcam is just O K .. not sharp :) as I would expect. But that's how it is in almost all laptops even in the higher segment ones. Best to hook and Logitech C270 or above for best results for Image clarity. - Sound is Good ! Better than most. Also the dual Microphones are very good. - Battery can give a tough competition to any brand with 4 cells. Easily surviving above ~5 hrs with moderate use. So definitely Good. (DDR3L RAM(s) with 1.35V a major contributor) - The built is sturdy and solid. - Also the touch pad is appropriately sensitive with many scrolling modes (multi-touch). - Laptop is noiseless and dissipates very less heat guess DDR3L RAM(s) as one of the primary reasons. Overall - I am Impressed. Have not come across any drawbacks yet. Will post if I stumble on any.

I bought the Laptop in a lenovo authorised Showroom. The Graphics Card is N15S-GT DDR3 4G ,, This is the 4GB DDR3 variant of GeForce GTX 850M. In this edition, the frame buffer was doubled to 4GB though this will not boost its performance and can be addressed as a gimmick - marketing to lure consumers into paying more for the same product. The performance will be same as a 2GB Graphics Card. And I Bought this laptop for Rs51000.
