The Lenovo Ideapad Z50-70 (59-429601) is a nice business oriented laptop which flaunts a superb 1080p display. The Intel Core i5 CPU and standard RAM makes business smooth. It also possesses a HD webcam, 1TB hard disk, powerful optical drive and impressive speakers. You will have to install a separate OS though.

Display and Design

The Lenovo Ideapad Z50-70 (59-429601) flaunts a beautifully crafted 15.6-inch full HD Twisted Nematic GL Slim display which promises to respond quickly which becomes extremely handy while running rich graphics. With a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, the display produces pristine image quality and vibrant colors. It is enclosed in a completely black chassis which has a thickness of 25 mm and a weight of 2.4 kg.

Processor and Platform

For driving its processes, the laptop is packed with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 processor based on QM87 Express chipset belonging to the 4th generation series. It is aided by a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM which is expandable up to 16GB via 2 unused DIMM slots. The integrated Intel HD 4400 GPU is capable of handling only simple videos and games. It is devoid of any preloaded OS which is a bit disappointing.
