It does lock on to EVDO networks for a few moments but leaves that network and switches to 1x mode. Even you switch to evdo mode only it works for a while but then the connectivity issue crops up.
Since mid february 2016 (when the product was delivered), I was unable to use it for any purpose. It doesn't only detect the SIM card, but any external devices like memory card, USB etc. My kind advise is not to go for this product and this seller must be black listed by flipkart and they should compensate all who bought this product.nnThis was the worst experience I ever had shopping with flipkart and now my faith in flipkart itself under review.
