Finally recieved this tablet from another store since its not avalaible on flipkart yet(as on 16-04-2012)....been using it since a week now and now i guess i can tell u all the flaws basically since other reviews only tell you what already is written on the box or in the specifications,,,,,,,nnFirst of all,the tablet isnt that gr8 to look at,i mean its "OK",nothing too good bout itnnSecondly, mine went gaga while typing once, had to do a factory reset and been working alright since then,i hope it doesnt do that again,nnThirdly, web browsing isnt a gr8 experience, its "NICE" thoughnnFourthly, hardware buttons look like a cheap tablet buttons,,theree was no need to do that,i searched google and saw this tablet sold in open market by some other chinese name so basically what micromax has done is buy a cheap tablet, used the micromax stamp and sold it to us,typically IndiannnFifthly, camera sucks,o man its filthy, skype video call is a shame,i tried calling a buddy with a same tablet and the sound was like barking dogs and video was like green strips, rest u guys can imagine,i felt like smacking the tablet in the wall(yes it does have a inbuilt microphone)nnSixthly,it does make u feel every now and then that its a 6k tabletnnnNOW THE GOOD THINGS(keeping in mind it costs only 6.5k)nscreen brightness is good and the touch itself is very nicenyoutube works flawlesslynebook reading is nice toongaming is a good experiencenapplications start w/o lagni din find the speaker too bad, they are nice,i like hearing some music and its nice to have this tablet aroundnandroid 4.0.3 ICS is good interface, just the feel of it is nicennnif this is goin to be your first tablet u are gonna love the hell out of it but if u have used nything like samsung or apple or blackberry and u are gonna compare it to them then its gonna be hard for you to justify why u bought it.....as far as i am concerned i am giving it a 3 out of 5 stars.....a good tablet but nothing great....useful but not essential....cheap cool but not crazy.....if u cnt afford 25k tablets u should go nowhere else and buy this one straight....
The original tablet is ployer momo9 which has been re branded as micromax funbook the tablet is excellent and gives a good battery backup for more than 3 hrs. Plays HD videos very well. Those who have problem with skype its not micromax problem it is problem with the skype app with the recent android ICS tablets i dono why people just blindly accuse the brand without even thinking or trying to solve the problem google for the compatible versions and install it and the issue will be solved. Regarding the dongle being only supported of tata photon this is not true exactly i used my own 3g service with aircel sim all you need to do is follow these stepsnnn1. With the given Extension card for connecting the USB port connect your data card.n2. Go to Settings--> Select More--> then Mobile Networksn3. Enable Mobile network and also enable data while roaming.n4. Click on the Mobile networks, in that you can see "TATA" with the dial number #777.n5. Click that, it will go inside that option,n6. Then Scroll to the user name and password section.n7. Select and enter your user name and password of your datacardnnI hope my review would have helped many. nnPS: Buy products of which you are aware of don't blame the manufactures or the distribution brand for it and for gods sake learn to use GOOGLE before posting unwanted things.
