It has a bunch of great features such as a great battery backup, a speedy SSD, sharp display, backlit keyboard etc. Performance wise, the laptop wins the heart of the user and is worth buying. However, heavy gamers must keep in mind that the laptop does not feature a dedicated GPU.

Having a 2,256 x 1,504 pixels display the Microsoft Surface Book (DAG-00001) sports a 13.5-inch WQXGA LED Backlit pixel sense with 10 points multi-touch display. The platinum coloured laptop weighs around 1.25 Kg and measures 307.3 x 223.5 x 15.2mm.

The device is driven by a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-7200U (7th Gen) processor coupled with an 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and an Intel HD 620 graphics unit. The Microsoft Surface Book (DAG-00001) is equipped with a Li-Po battery which claims to deliver a battery backup around 14.5 hours. The laptop provides two basic input devices including a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support and an Alcantara fabric backlit keyboard.  A 1080p quality webcam is present above the bezel of the laptop that helps in video calling and recording.
