The Microsoft Surface Book (DAL-00055) is a nice laptop which comes with a lot of strong features. The touchscreen device comes with an excellent processor and an ample amount of RAM. The battery backup is excellent for daily use. However, you can find some other laptops with a dedicated GPU around this price range.
Display and Configuration

The Microsoft Surface Book (DAL-00055) comes with a 13.5-inch WQHD LED Backlit IPS Pixel sense touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels. The device weighs around 1.25Kg and is available in a Cobalt Blue colour option. The device is driven by a 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-7660U (7th Gen) processor assisted by a 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. The combination delivers a powerful performance while handling multitasking and running heavy games. Along with these, an Intel Iris Plus 640 GPU handles the graphical requirements of the system. It boots on Windows 10 Professional operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture.

Input Device, Camera and Battery

The Microsoft Surface Book (DAL-00055) features a Touchpad with Multi-touch Gesture Support and a Full keyboard with Chiclet Style as the input device. Just on the top of the screen, a 720p webcam is present for video calling and recording. The laptop is fuelled by a Li-po battery which claims to deliver a backup around 14.5 hours.
