MSI PE60 7RD Laptop (Core i7 7th Gen/16 GB/1 TB/Windows 10/4 GB)

5 stars Straight cause I couldn't really find any flaw in this beautiful machine. Pros Looks beautiful- the aluminium chasis is pretty sturdy and amazing to look at Price - At this price (85,000 , even though I got it for 70,000 with exchange, amazing offer! ) you just cannot find a BETTER laptop than this unless you have some relatives coming over from US who can bring you a laptop, even then this will outmatch that machine (at around 70000) Everything else is great, I won't post gaming performance because you can find that anywhere and yes this has the 4GB version of GTx 1050. The sound is Great with Good Bass which can be enhanced using the Nihimic software (didn't find that on Dvd, downloaded it from the MSI website) The battery lasts around 4 hours, depending on the usage. Can't say about heating, haven't checked it out. I had no problems whatsoever with this product out of the box. Kudos to flipkart for delivering it the next day. Really happy with my purchase. If you are someone who's in digital content and gaming, this laptop is the best of both worlds at this price.

Worth the worth! Asthetics and Body. The looks, are subjective. Has Plastic body with a brushed aluminum finish. The body itself feels a bit flimsy :( but it's far from a deal breaker. Investing so much money, you can trust yourself to take good care of it. The Display. A very sharp and vibrant display. The brightness is good enough for most of the scenario. Also matte display helps to shield any background light. Viewing angles are good enough for people to notice what you're doing(so beware you!) from all but extreme of angles. Keyboard & Touchpad It has a (white) backlit keyboard with 3 levels of brightness. The feel is alright, compared to other membrane keyboard and has a nice key travel. but if you're used to mechanical, this is meh!. I hate that there's no start button at the left side of keyboard and if you're a power user, you'll most pprobably hate it too. If you left your mouse or don't have one, this'll work smoothly. It has a very light texture, and buttons are tactile and sturdy. but come-on GTX 1050, why am I talking about Touchpad, get a mouse. I/O Read the specs, but heads up on the DVD RW drive -_-. More battery please ? It's a USB 3.0 type c, not 3.1. Webcam is an untold tragedy. Video is terrible, audio is also...terrible, but one can still use it, under the "chalega" act. I don't use it that often especially after Snowden.( Yes, I will put a tape on it.) Speakers, I don't consider myself an audiophile, and if it's the same with you, you'll like it too. The nahimic audio driver have some good features too to modify sound of internal speakers or audio devices connected via audio jack. Upgradability. The only thing worth upgrading is to add a m.2 ssd. It does have a slot but to access it, you gotta remove the back cover and that voids the warranty. So yeah! There's a friction in upgrading this laptop. Starting up. The laptop comes with DOS. So if you're only installing linux, go right ahead(you may have to add additional drivers for wireless lan). As for windows, if that is your goto and you're a noob(like I was), to install all the drivers, you need a windows 10 preferably the latest version. I had version 10 and Nvidia graphics driver didn't install. So had to update to anniversary edition(ver. 1607 which windows may do it on it's own exhausting GBs of data in the way :P).
