Pros: -Looks premium and lovely. -Good Features and they all work. Cons: -Mediocre response and performance. -Soon-to-be-outdated hardware specs.
I am writing this review for the adam 2 3g version. Been using this for last couple of months and i can surely say it is a great effort by an indian company to make a mark in the market, With good service support. But after using it for some time i can surely say the build quality of this tablet is not good and is very unpredictable.I am saying this even after notion ink have replaced my earlier device and new device have new problems. On my earlier device there was screen bleed issues, the headphone jack was not aligned with the tablet chassis so you can get any sort of connector in! So they replaced it without a question. Now on my second device with same applications loaded as first device. It heats up and slows down which was not the case with earlier one. Second and most common or the weakest point of this tablet constuction is the plastic strip which runs along the back camera. It used to make squieck noise after pressing and on the new device its cracked near the camera after a months usage and even chipped at a corner. and i am not a gamer or a rough user of this tablet. I can conclude this is that there are better options to this, all are made in china but i think this is made by some not so great chinese manufacturing unit as compared to nokia or dell. Overall performance is good for document editing, streaming, browsing etc. Notion Ink, Please improve that plastic casing quality around the edges! Lets hope our Indian company improves over their mistakes. P.S. - I have bought this directly from notion ink.
