The Realme 2 comes with some noticeable improvements over the original phone and seems set to give other handsets a run for their money
Aug 28 2018 By Shekhar ThakranThe 3GB RAM variant of the Realme 2 has been priced at Rs 8,999, while the higher-end model will set you back by Rs 10,999. Considering the price is the same as the Realme 1, the choice of processor leaves us with mixed feelings. Especially if you consider the 4GB RAM version, which faces stiff competition from the likes of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 (review) and Honor 9N (review). While the ASUS handset comes powered by a more powerful processor and battery, the 9N also ships with a stunning glass-sandwich design along with sporting a better chipset. The competitors also offer sharper displays with full HD resolution. If we talk about the affordable variant of the two, then things get better for the Realme 2 and it comes across as a stand-out offering. The first handset was recommended by us as one of the best options available in the price range and with the new offering, you get better cameras and longer battery life as well. Even though the processor choice serves as a bit of letdown — especially because its predecessor set a new benchmark in the sub-Rs 10k segment — the other improvements certainly make the Realme 2`s base model a compelling offering. The smartphone also comes across as a better buy in comparison to rivals like the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 (review) and Redmi Note 5 (review).

First Detailed Review after 6days of usage Let's start with 1. Notch: Trust me guys it's unbelievable super as Notch is enabled with multitasking during games or apps. 2. screen size: Very good for big screen lover even though easy to hold with single hand.but ppi is low. not crisp screen. 3. Battery: Have full charged it and it tool 1.5 hours from 30 to 100. and after heavy usage of 6 hours it's fall down to 82% I must say beast in battery. 4. performance: Good split screen option for multitasking. didn't heat even after long hours of gaming and music. more then value for money. 5. camera: beauty mode is as awesome as it can be one of the quality of oppo. and they have done it again good AI camera in selfie. but rear camera is quite disappointment.poor performance in low light. 6. unlock:very very fast on body detection, fingerprint sensor and face unlock. 7. pre installed screen protector and back cover in box. cons I must say that it does not come with head phones but I can give 4 out of 5 as because it's low budget phone. Guys my final conclusion if you looking for phone between 6 to 12000 then Real Me 2 is the answer. started to heat up after 5th day. I think showing it's true colour now Go for it I was lucky enough to get hand on it on first sale. try your luck .. will edit my review further if will find any negative or positive.
