The Samsung NP500R5L-M02US laptop comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) Full HD LED display. It runs on Windows 10 Home Premium operating system. Inside the laptop, there is a 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-6500U processor which acts a brain of the system. The processor is aided by an 8GB of DDR4 RAM and an integrated Intel HD 520 graphics card. 

Camera and Storage

For image clicking, video calling and shooting, there is a webcam stacked above the display screen. It captures good quality clear videos at 480p resolution (max.). The user can enjoy video calling by installing apps such as SKYPE, Jitsi, ooVoo etc. In terms of storage, the Samsung NP500R5L-M02US houses dual storage - a 500GB SATA hard disk with 5,400RPM speed and a 256GB solid state drive.

Connectivity and Battery

Connectivity options include a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, one USB 3.0 slots, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port. The Samsung NP500R5L-M02US derives its energy from a Li-ion battery which claims to render a backup for around 7 hours.

Body Looks and Input Devices

The laptop is well designed in a  black coloured body with elegant looks. It measures 375 x 248 x 20.8mm and weighs 1.9Kg. Like other laptops, the Samsung NP500R5L-M02US also features input devices namely - a touchpad and a standard notebook keyboard with numeric keypad.
