The Spice Mi-740 is a mix of hits and misses. While a good configuration and 3G support are commendable in this price, an average resolution display and poor cameras might break the deal. Consider this if you don't wish to use your tablet heavily for multimedia and photography, and are tight on budget.

The Spice Mi-740 comes with a 7.0-inch IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 600 x 1,024 pixels and the pixel density is 170ppi which renders images and videos.This phablet weighs 306 grams.

It has a quad-core processor under its hood, which clocks at 1.3GHz and the processor is coupled with 1GB RAM. For Android experience, it has Android v4.4 (Kitkat) which is modded by Spice and it has a significant amount of bloatware. 

Camera and Memory

This phablet sports a 2MP fixed focus main camera which is not too impressive, and a VGA camera as the secondary camera, which will disappoint the selfie lovers. The internal memory is 8GB which can be expanded upto 32GB with the help of a MicroSD card.

Battery and Connectivity

The Spice Mi-740 takes all its power from a 2,800mAh,li-ion battery which has a standby time up to 158 hours in 2G networks. Connectivity options includes GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
