Toshiba Satellite C50D-A 60010 Laptop (AMD Quad Core/4 GB/750 GB/Windows 8/512 MB)

WS retail is a good retailer and my experience till date with them is absolutely fine. The performance of the laptop is good. Battery, display, etc. are very good. Sound is a BIG BIG negative. It would have been better if Toshiba launched this laptop without speakers. Other negative about the laptop is its body. It’s a very delicate laptop. I don't think that it will last till the end of its extended warranty period (if TOSHIBA really provide support till than). The worst part of this deal was my experience with the Multinational Company like TOSHIBA. I was informed by Flipkart that I will be getting the laptop backpack directly from TOSHIBA after registering the product on their website for extended warranty (As per Toshiba's offer). TOSHIBA confirmed over telephone the same and I decided to purchase the laptop from WSRetail. Later after registrations of the product for extended warranty and after repeated follow-up, I have not yet got the laptop backpack as TOSHIBA promised before purchasing. Even after commitment by the company (TOSHIBA), they are cheating. Request you all to beware of any commitment made by TOSHIBA Company in future. They can anytime deny from commitment. This is my first hand experience and I think that it’s a lesson for me not to buy any product of TOSHIBA in future. Now I am really worried about their after sales service. Weather they will really support this product for three years which has already started giving problem. My recommendation will be not to buy this product as the body is very delicate and TOSHIBA IS NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY.

Gifted this laptop and user is very happy with its performance. Glossy white, fit and finish is really nice. Toshiba silver emblem looks classy. AMD A6 proven performer, No heating issues after a months usage. Installed Autocad '07, Running smooth. 750 GB HDD, 4 GB RAM with 512 MB graphics. Pre loaded windows 8.1 , Peace of mind. What else? Only con i could see is the max. volume with the speakers. In-spite of having a 15.6 inch screen the speakers spoil the movie experience as sound is too low. Buy an external speaker if you are a movie freak. Simple solution. That's it! Icing on the cake - You get extra 2 years extended warranty free of cost if purchased between April 1 st - April 30th, 2014. Don't think twice if you are looking for something at this price range. Recommended product from toshiba. Full 5 stars for Flip kart with their services. Gets better day by day!
