The Toshiba Satellite Pro R50-B I2100 carries a 15.6-inch HD Clear SuperView LED backlit display which offers greater amount of brightness and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The 32.5mm thick black coloured outfit carries a fanless design and has and a weight of 2.3kg.

Configuration and OS

On the inside, the Toshiba Satellite Pro R50-B I2100 is packed with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the fourth generation series. It works in combination with a regular 4GB DDR3 RAM which functions at 1,600MHz and is further expandable via two DIMM slots. The preloaded Intel HD GPU takes the responsibility of managing rich games and videos. It runs on latest 64 bit Windows 8.1 OS which is easy to use.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The Toshiba Satellite Pro R50-B I2100 is armed with a simple webcam and inbuilt microphone to account for the video calling needs of the user. For storage purposes, there is a 500GB SATA hard disk operating at 5,400rpm. It is equipped with an 8X SuperMulti DVD Drive which can be used for exchanging files through disks. The combination of Toshiba Audio Enhancement software and stereo speakers takes care of your multimedia needs well.

Battery and Connectivity

The laptop keeps the show running without any interruption for a decent period of time with a 4 cell Li-ion battery. Connectivity and networking options come in the form of WLAN, one USB 2.0 slot, Bluetooth v4.0, digital media reader, two USB 3.0 slots, HDMI out and Gigabit Ethernet.
