Samsung has introduced a new 30-month no-cost EMI option for its latest foldable smartphones, making its premium Galaxy Z series more affordable for buyers in India. The new financing plan covers the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8, allowing customers to purchase the devices with zero down payment.
Samsung says the initiative is aimed at reducing the monthly cost of ownership and helping more consumers experience its latest foldable technology powered by Galaxy AI.
Under the new offer, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra (256GB) is available at a monthly installment of Rs 6,667. Samsung says this EMI is around 9 percent lower than the previous-generation Galaxy Z Fold7. The Galaxy Z Fold8 (256GB) can be purchased at Rs 6,000 per month, while the Galaxy Z Flip8 (256GB) is available at Rs 4,167 per month.
In terms of pricing, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts at Rs 1,99,999, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 is priced at Rs 1,79,999 for the base variant. The Galaxy Z Flip8 has a starting price of Rs Rs 1,24,999.
The 30-month no-cost EMI scheme is available through Samsung Finance+ (powered by DMI Finance), TVS Credit, IDFC FIRST Bank, and Poonawalla Fincorp. With the extended repayment period, Samsung aims to make its premium foldable smartphones more accessible by lowering monthly payments.
Just last week, Samsung said that the Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Z Flip8 set a new record for its foldable lineup with more than 2.71 lakh pre-orders in India within the first 72 hours of launch. All three foldables go on sale in India on August 7th, with pre-order deliveries arriving a little earlier.
