Verdict
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 gets a combination spec sheet under the 30k price range. You can get through daily meetings, attend online classes or use it for entertainment purposes in a seamless manner. Thanks to the massive Fast Charging enabled 8720mAh battery loaded within. Xiaomi has placed decent camera options on both sides. 4G VoLTE network compatibility would have made the device stand out from the rest in a true sense.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 comes with an 11.0-inch vivid IPS LCD, featuring a pixel density of 274ppi while offering a screen resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. 

The tab gets a single rear camera setup on the backside comprising a 13MP f/2.0 Primary Camera, including features like LED Flash, Autofocus, Digital Zoom, Face detection, HDR mode, Continuos Shooting, Exposure compensation, Auto Flash, and more. An 8MP f/2.0 Primary Camera is present at the front. 

Configuration and Battery

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 comes with 6GB RAM and an Octa-core (Single-core, 2.69GHz, Kryo 485 + Tri-core, 2.42GHz, Kryo 485 + Quad-core, 1.8GHz, Kryo 485) processor. An Adreno 640 GPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset take care of the graphical requirements besides ensuring a lag-free user experience. 

A non-replaceable 8720mAh Li-Polymer battery gets installed within the device, supported by a 33W Fast Charging mechanism.

Storage and Connectivity

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 features an internal memory of 128GB that can not be expanded further. Connectivity features offered by the tablet are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB charging and a 3.5mm audio jack. It gets additional inbuilt features like handheld PC mode, parallel windows, along with a dual-screen drag and drop facility.
