Verdict
The Redmi 1s falls into the budget category only because of its pricing. It feels more like a mid-range smartphone in disguise, possible in part due to Xiaomi`s sales and advertising strategy. Instead of spending on promotion, it relies more on the internet, social networks and its community of die-hard fans to spread the word about its products.
