The Yxtel i5 will certainly meet your expectations if you are looking for a slate for casual entertainment on the go without spending much. On the positive side, it supports 3G and has a microSD slot. Its poor configuration makes one doubtful about the performance though. The tablet comes in two colors - black and white.
Handsome slate with an affordable price tag
The Yxtel i5 runs Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS on its large 7-inch LCD, multi touch display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by the combined action of 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM.
 
The tablet comes with the typical 2MP digital camera at the rear end accompanied by a VGA camera supporting video calling at the front. It has an inbuilt storage capacity of 4GB which is expandable thanks to the presence of a microSD slot.
 
Coming to the connectivity options, the Yxtel i5 is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS with EDGE, USB port and the standard 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 2,800mAh Li-ion battery promising to deliver 3 hours of talktime and 120 hours of standby time over 2G network.
