The BlackBerry Z30 is too late. This isn`t the place to recap BlackBerry`s highs and lows, but with the reassuringly expensive Z30 in your hand it`s tough not to muse about what might have been. This is a smartphone worthy of flagship status, and it offers a significant improvement over the BlackBerry Z10. This is a heavy smartphone with a 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a really premium build, and a solid set of specs, including a 1.7GHz dual-...
Pros: Great battery life, Unified messaging hub, Premium feel, Good web browsing,
Cons: Poor navigation, Lack of apps and games, Wi-Fi issues, Expensive,
Verdict: It`s sad to think that this might be BlackBerry`s last release because with the Z30 it has finally, belatedly, figured out how to make a really good touch screen smartphone. Unfortunately rivals worked the same thing out much more quickly, and their ...
BlackBerry unveiled the fourth BlackBerry 10 (BB10) OS device, the Z30 in September. Touted as the "biggest, fastest and most advanced" BlackBerry smartphone, the Z30 packs quite a decent set of specs to try and grab market share from the competition. Can the Z30 achieve what the Z10, Q10 and Q5 could not - to break the stranglehold of the mobile market by Apple iOS and Google Android? Let's find out if it has what it takes to pose a strong chall...
Unlike the actual BB10 debut product, the smaller Z10, the Z30 is without a doubt the company's biggest, boldest, most advanced gadget yet. Unfortunately, though, this fresh effort from the Canadian handset maker comes way too late. I fear all those who would have considered the Z30 over iPhones and Android handsets have long since moved to greener pastures. Despite boasting a large 5-inch touchscreen, handsome styling and a high-capacity battery...
Is the BlackBerry Z30 a big BlackBerry Z10? Yes and no. The 5 inch Z30 has a larger display, sure. It was the first device to ship with BlackBerry OS 10.2, but that playing field is now even and my Z10 runs that OS as well. The phones obviously run the same software, share gesture-based user interfaces, and have LTE 4G and robust security. So what's different about the BlackBerry Z30?...
Pros: What's Hot: Attractive and well made, large screen, great on-screen keyboard.
Cons: What's Not: 720p and older dual core CPU won't attract specs-conscious buyers, app selection still sparse.
Verdict: : A Nice Phone with Scanty Apps and Disappearing Marketshare This all sounds like great stuff, right? So what's the problem? The phone is gorgeous and OS is pleasing, after all. BlackBerry World is still a lonely place compared to the Google Play Sto...
