As the LTE networks rapidly increase their reach globally, support for them is no longer exclusively reserved for high-end devices. The HTC One SV is a clear example of this trend. The Android smartphone is far from the Taiwanese company`s top shelf offerings. Instead, the handset aims to offer affordable LTE goodness, packed in a well put together, fairly affordable package. Verdict: The HTC One SV packs a curious personality, that`s for sure. The handset combines good looks (especially in the red color scheme), superb build quality, rich set of features, and adequate performance all in one - those are qualities which HTC smartph...

It's tough to review a phone that doesn't stand out from the crowd. On the other hand, when the crowd is made up of great phones from HTC like the Droid DNA, One X+ and One S, it's not really a bad thing. That's what you have here with the HTC One SV -- a great little phone that blends in well with the rest of HTC's current offerings. Here in the states, the One SV is exclusive to Cricket. While that's good news for C...

The HTC One SV is a one of the first mid-range handsets to boast 4G connectivity. It has a 1.2GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM, comes with 8GB of internal storage and packs microSD card support. The screen is a 4.3-inch, 480x800-pixel resolution Super LCD2 panel, and around the back there’s a 5-megapixel snapper. The One SV is running Android 4.0 -- otherwise known as Ice Cream Sandwich -- as well as version 4.1 of HTC’s own ...

    Pros: 4G connectivity,Good battery life,

Cons: Low-resolution screen,Average specs,Expensive for what it is,

  • Repackaged and 4G enabled, is the One SV the ultimate mid-range smartphone?
    John McCann
    16 May 2013 | techradar

The HTC One SV isn`t exactly a new handset, more or a reboot of the HTC One S which launched back at MWC 2012. That said the One SV arrives sporting a new chassis and slightly differing specifications under the hood, the most of important of which is its 4G capabilities. The price has dropped recently: available SIM-free from around £250 the HTC One SV is a much more attractive proposition, especially if it gets the software update detailed...

Pros: 4G enabled, Decent battery life, Good media capabilities, MicroSD card slot,

Cons: Cheaper design, Lesser specs, Lots of compromises, Only Android 4.0,

Verdict: It`s good to see another proper mid-range handset enter the 4G fray, but the Taiwanese firm has got its sums wrong on this occasion and ultimately that`s going to make the HTC One SV a difficult one to shift....
