Display and Configuration
The new entry level smartphone from Karbonn features a 4.5-inch (540 x 960 pixels) IPS LCD capacitive multi-touch screen which renders a decent viewing experience with a pixel density of 245 ppi. It runs on Android v4.4.2 (Kitkat) out of the box and provides an intuitive UI experience. Karbonn Titanium S3 Plus is empowered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with an average 512 MB RAM.
Camera and Storage
Reflecting on the price it is evident that the device compromised a bit on its cameras. It sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and also accompanied a by a digital zoom to offer good quality shots in well lit conditions. As far as the front camera is concerned, Titanium S3 Plus houses a poor 0.3MP camera with low image productivity. The smartphone is built with a 4GB internal memory and the storage space can be expanded upto 16 GB with the help of an external Micro SD card.
Battery and Connectivity
Karbonn Titanium S3 Plus runs the show with a 1,500mAH li-ion battery and claims to facilitate a decent standby and talktime on 2G. The smartphone comes with quite an effective connectivity framework as it includes- 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, USB Port, microUSB 2.0, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth.
The Karbonn Titanium S3 Plus is a decent entry-level smartphone. With a decent configuration, 5MP rear camera along with a 3G connectivity, it meets the needs of first time smartphone users.
