The Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 give Nokia all the presence they need in the higher WP8 circles, but a smart maneuver has helped HTC emerge as a serious threat in the lower midrange. The Finns, who are obviously having none of that, responded swiftly to the Windows Phone 8S. After all, when the future of the whole company is resting on a single platform, you just can`t leave anything to chance. Nokia Lumia 620 official photos The Nokia Lumia 620 has ...
The Lumia 620 is Nokia`s stab at an affordable unlocked Windows Phone 8 device for the global masses, and its fun, youthful design so typical of the Lumia line will help it stand out from competitors in the same price point....
Pros: The Nokia Lumia 620 has a glare-cutting screen, a decent 5-megapixel camera, NFC, and an affordable price tag.
Cons: The Lumia 620 loses points for poor call quality, a short screen time-out, a small battery, and numerous design issues -- including a hard-to-find SIM card slot.
Verdict: Nokia`s Lumia 620 smartphone successfully delivers a complete Windows Phone 8 experience for a low price, but buyer beware of some compromises in battery, sound, and design....
The best reason not to buy a budget Android phone....
Pros: Great design and ergonomics ; Fantastic value ; High quality, if low-res, screen ; Strong overall performance
Cons: App roster canu2019t compete with budget Androids ; Average battery life
Verdict: All the Nokia Lumia 620 misses out on is 4G. And such a connection wonu2019t be much use in a budget phone for at least a year. Would you really fork out for a contract that gets you a u00a3400 phone and opt for a u00a3150 one?...
The Nokia Lumia 620 is Nokia`s third foray into Windows Phone 8 territory, but while the previous two - the Nokia Lumia 820 and the Nokia Lumia 920 - were both fairly high end affairs, this is a decidedly budget handset. Really its closest competitor is the HTC Windows Phone 8S, since the two phones have pretty similar specs. They both have a dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video and a 480 x 800 resolution d...
Pros: Great value, Solid specs, Expandable storage, Useful Nokia apps,
Cons: Mediocre battery life, Cramped keyboard, Slow browser, Small screen,
Verdict: There`s not a whole lot that the Nokia Lumia 620 does wrong. As an all-round, jack of all trades budget handset it does a great job. We`d love it if the screen was slightly bigger or it had a little bit more RAM, but for the price we can`t really com...
Overall User Rating (4.3 Out of 5 based on 4 ratings)
Cons: Less Apps
Overall: This is a really great phone. Windows OS is mindblowing and yes the correct term is Butter smooth. 1GHz processor is more than enough for Lumia 620 and 512MB RAM ll do. There is no Multi-touch issue. The Hard buttons (volume, screenlock n camera buttons ) are really not that hard to press. Easy to touch. I dono wat people mean by, there are very few apps for Windows. What are you goin to do with 1000+ apps, really? Nokia city lens, maps (it ll show u in whichever corner of earth u may be living in) and all basic apps are available. Office 365 is very good. Lots of basics apps are available in Store free of cost. For people who say there is no FM radio, please... I downloaded a Radio App for FREE from Store yesterday and is working fine, but you need a wifi connection or data plan for this app to work... Let me say one thing about Android, what i heard from my workplace colleagues. ( am working in a software company rite now, which has a separate lab for developing n maintaining iOS and Android apps) Android is not a complete OS and developers of android have already made huge profits by selling the incomplete OS. Now the -ve part is, 1. It does not Have Many Free Games... this phone s not for hardcore gamers, but if you are not going to play lots of games, but need a smartphone... go for this one... 2. I think there is no proper app to work with .zip, .rar files yet... 3. The 5MP is not very impressive, but good for normal users. You ll love the OS and people around me are already getting jealous over me. Finally, ITS WORTH YOUR MONEY.
