OPPO Reno16c 5G Expert Review Summary
Expert Rating:
![Dhruv Joshi]()
Verdict
The Reno16c is an extremely specialised phone that focuses on a few things. It looks good, feels comfortable, lasts easily through the day, and offers a very capable camera setup with a telephoto lens. On top of that, a polished OS, a vibrant AMOLED display, stereo speakers, and fast charging help add balance to the formula. Its performance is only average, but for buyers who value design, imaging, and battery life, the Reno16c is still worth a serious look.
Pros
- Capable cameras with telephoto lens
- Eye-catching design
- Excellent battery life and fast charging
- Smooth, customisable OS
Cons
- Average performer
- Slightly pricey
Design: unique and comfortable
+
The Reno 16c's design is pretty special, with a subtle 3D back-panel effect that gives it a distinctive, eye-catching look. The handset feels well balanced in hand at 197g, with a comfortable grip despite the 8.4mm thickness. Good IP protection, a TPU case, and attractive colour options make the phone's design one of its key highlights.

Cameras: a capable system complete with telephoto lens
+
The Reno16c's cameras are its strongest aspect by far. The 50MP main camera delivers sharp, detailed daylight shots with good dynamic range, while the 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom adds flexibility. The ultrawide camera is also capable, and the 50MP selfie camera does a good job with skin tones and overall detail. In low light, the results turn out well too, with good exposure control, reduced flare, and great detail retention.
