Display and Outfit
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE features a 4-inch LCD multi touch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) resulting in a pixel density of 233ppi. It measures 10.8mm around the waist and tips the scale at just 124 grams, so you won't have much problem in toting around with it. It is made of the usual polycarbonate body which carries matte rugged finish at the back.
Processor and OS
At the heart of the device, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It works in tandem with a paltry 512MB RAM which will surely cause lags while running decently powerful games and apps. It ships with Android v4.4 KitKat OS.
Camera and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE has been spotted with a 5MP camera at the back which is inclusive of features like autofocus, continuous shooting, LED flash, white balance presets, digital zoom and scenes. There is no info about the quality of the front camera yet. It features a standard inbuilt storage unit of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB.
Battery and Connectivity
To keep the show running for a decent period of time without any interruption, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE depends on a Li-ion battery of 1,550mAh. From the connectivity and networking point of view, the phone sports features like GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, USB port, GLONASS and Mobile hotspot. There is no official mention about 3G connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3-VE has been launched to increase the Korean giant's range of budget smartphones. It comes with entry level features which are available at a lower price in phones from other brands. The lack of 3G connectivity would be a big lowdown considering its price.
