Big things packed in small
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is the successor to one of the worldÂs best selling Android mobile the Samsung Galaxy S3. It has been made especially for the people who liked everything about the Samsung Galaxy S3 except of its monster size. Samsung Galaxy S3 mini packs the same oomph factor but in a small package.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini features a 4.0 inch, 480 x 800 pixels, 16M colors, Super Amoled touch screen running Android 4.0 toppled with Nature UX user interface. The screen is excellent with high quality display, wide angles and sunlight legibility. No complaints here.
The phone has been powered by a Dual core 1 GHz processor, Mali-400MP GPU and 1GB Ram to ensure buttery smooth performance of the mobile.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 mini packs a feature loaded 5 Mega Pixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash which can also capture videos of up to 720p@30fps. Some of other camera features include smile and face recognition. The pictures shot from the camera are the best a 5 Mega Pixel snapper can shoot.
ItÂs a complete mobile on the connectivity front as well. It packs all the connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPS, Micro USB etc. The phone also houses a 16GB of inbuilt memory which is further expandable via Micro SD slot.
Like its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy S III mini is a complete package. It is the best mid range Android mobile. Though it houses a dual core processor and 5 MP snapper instead of Quad core and 8MP respectively, but that is what makes it affordable. It is the perfect alternative for those who did not buy the original S3 just because it iss too large or costly. If you are one among them, go for S3 mini undoubtedly.
Just as the Galaxy S2 got the Galaxy S Advance as its cheaper, slightly more basic mini-me, the S3 has now been joined in Samsung`s smart phone line-up by the S3 Mini. Naturally, the S3 Mini is much cheaper than its big brother, and you can nab one SIM-free for around £300, while the S3 floats around closer to the £400 mark. You can find the S3 Mini on a two-year contract from £15.50 per month. The two phones seem to be miles apart in te...
Pros: Latest version of Android,Decent battery life and call quality,Feels comfortable in your hand,
Cons: Too expensive,Outclassed by the cheaper Google Nexus 4,
The announcement that Samsung has sold the most phones, and in particular more than double the amount of iPhones, will no doubt be of little shock. The Samsung Galaxy S3 was the most popular selling smartphone in Q3 2012, following in the footsteps of its older brother, the now 18 month-old Samsung Galaxy S2. One of the secrets of Samsung`s success has to be the quality of its devices, but another is that it has targeted every corner of the marke...
Pros: Scaled down design, Android Jelly Bean, MicroSD support, Bright Screen,
Cons: Expensive, Dual core, Low Screen resolution, Samsung Apps,
Verdict: The S3 Mini ticks all the right boxes, and comes in at a very decent price. The truth of the matter is, though, that it`s launching right smack bang against the Google phone, the Nexus 4. Would we recommend buying it over the Nexus? Not really....
The Samsung Galaxy S III mini is designed to bring most of the goodies of the Galaxy S III in a significantly smaller form-factor. However, the S III mini is more intriguing than your typical mid-range model, as it has the privilege of being named......
Pros: Elegant and compact design ; Comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Cons: Video recording is so-so ; The physical buttons could be better
Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy S III mini is a lovely mainstream smartphone. All of a sudden, the Galaxy S III`s u201cnature-inspiredu201d design looks and feels right in your hand. The device is easy to hold and operate, while its 4-inch screen is big enough to...
Looking for a decent Android smartphone, but don't want one as big and expensive as the Samsung Galaxy S3 or HTC One X+? Then read our Galaxy S3 mini review to find out if this is the phone for you....
Verdict: The Galaxy S3 mini is a reasonably good mid-ranged Android smartphone with good software and battery life. However, unless you particularly want a smaller smartphone, we can't see any major reason to pick the Galaxy S3 mini over the cheaper but highe...
