Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is a great phone combined with a point and shoot camera. It has been designed especially for shutterbugs who loves to keep clicking but hate carrying an extra device always. With Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, you always have a camera in your pocket. For people not very fond of camera, it couldn’t be the best option as the optical zooms makes it a bit uncomfortable to carry.

Android on a point-and-shoot? Last year we learned that it could be done. But with some features that duplicate the functionality of a smartphone without an ability to make calls, Samsung`s Galaxy Camera was a confusing mix of form and function. It was very much a first-generation device, and while they may have regretted it later, some curious early adopters did drop $500 for the soon-to-be-obsolete hybrid. The cumbersome compact, with its massi...
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is an unusual beast. In some ways it seems like a great idea, smartphone cameras have always paled in comparison to their compact counterparts, so why not stick a compact quality snapper on a phone, rather than forcing photo fans to lug both around? Of course on the other hand sticking a massive lens on the back of a smartphone isn`t the most ergonomic of design decisions. Samsung has also muddied the waters a little as...
Pros: Great smartphone camera, Good battery life, Decent web browsing, Great media players,
Cons: Expensive for mid-range, Only 8GB built in storage, Occasionally sluggish, Average screen,
Verdict: We really want to like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. If the camera or phone part was better or the price tag was lower then it would make sense, but it`s a poor compact and a mid-range phone with a high end price tag....
With the arrival of handsets like the Nokia Lumia 1020, Sony Xperia Z1 and HTC One, it's officially the year of the cameraphone. As smartphone designs have become more homogenous, manufacturers have looked towards advanced imaging capabilities to differentiate their devices. Phones like the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Beam and Galaxy Mega have proved that Samsung is a company willing to try any crazy idea once. Sometimes, as in the case of the Note, the ...
This year, after launching its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, Samsung has tried to leverage the same umbrella brand with variants, some with much inferior hardware specifications, to address different niche market segments. With the Galaxy S4 Zoom, Samsung has tried to merge its point and shoot camera with a full featured Android smartphone. Build/ DesignThe Galaxy S4 Zoom looks just like any other touchscreen phone from the front, but the b...
