The smartphone runs the latest Android v5.0.2 Lollipop OS dressed in TouchWiz UI and is powered by a 64-bit Exynos 7420 chipset housing four Cortex A-53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and four Cortex A-53 cores clocked at 2.1GHz. It works in tandem with 3GB RAM and Mali T760 GPU.

The main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S6 128GB captures 16MP stills, supports auto HDR, dual LED flash, OIS, touch focus, geo-tagging, panorama and can record Ultra HD videos at 30fps. It is accompanied by a 5MP wide angle front snapper which supports auto HDR and can shoot 1,080p videos at 30fps.
