Verdict
The Acer Aspire A315 is a mid-range laptop which has a decent set of features. The storage capacity of the device is excellent, so is the performance thanks to sound configuration front. But the battery backup of the device is not that good and absence of dedicated GPU is something that is available in laptops of its range. While it also doesn't have a fingerprint scanner, again which is so often available in devices of its range. Thus, there are certainly some limitations to this device but Acer is a well-known brand and other features as mentioned above are in place which to some extent justifies its credibility among users. 
Display and Storage

The display aspect of the device features a 15.6inch HD LED Backlit display with a native screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The storage component of the device consists of a storage capacity of  1TB HDD which is an above par storage capacity. The device is available in Black colour and weighs around 2.1kg.

Configuration and Connectivity

The performance of the device is backed by an Intel Premium Quad Core N4200 processor coupled with 4GB DDR3 RAM for carrying out multitasking with ease. The Intel HD 505 graphics processor takes care of the graphics requirement of the device. The connectivity facet of the device is provided with a certain regular option like- Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth v4.0. 

Battery, Camera and Input Device

Coming to the battery the device packs in a 2 cell Li-ion battery which provides a below average battery backup. While the front webcam is placed just at the top of the screen for video calling. The input devices that are present in the device include - a touchpad with multitouch support and a standard notebook keyboard.
