The Acer Aspire One AO725-0494 is a nice choice with decent looks, decent performance and brilliant battery backup. This laptop is apt for home and entertainment related usage. However, if you are looking for a laptop for multitasking then this is not for you.

Display and Design

The Acer Aspire One AO725-0494 (NU.SGPAA.014) Netbook comes with 11.6-inch display with LED backlight & Acer CineCrystal Technology. The display shows vivid colours with the resolution of 1366 x 768 Pixels. As per the design, the laptop comes dressed in a glossy black attire and its a fingerprint magnet. It measures at 284.48 x 203.2 x 22.8 mm and weighs just 1.20 kg. The laptop runs on the older Windows 8 OS and you can expect it to be updated with the latest Windows 10 OS.

Configuration and Storage

An AMD Dual Core C-70 processor coupled with 4GB DDR3 RAM sits on AMD A68M FCH chipset and clocks at as low as 1.0GHz. All the graphical needs are taken care of by the onboard  AMD Radeon HD 6290 GPU. All these together works decently in terms of multitasking. As per the concern about the storage, the issue is somehow addressed by a 320 GB HDD, that spins at 5400 RPM. A Touchpad with Multi-Touch Gesture support and Standard Keyboard with Numpad works as input devices. 

Battery and Connectivity

Asus has equipped the laptop with a 4 cell li-ion battery, that can provide uninterrupted backup of up to 5.5 hours, which means you can use the laptop for long time without being tangled.
