It even boasts of a battery backup which will leave you stunned. A HD webcam and SSD storage make it a good deal. However, since it focuses on web-based services, the storage space is limited.

The Acer C720-3871 (NX.SHEAA.018) kicks off with an 11.6-inch Active Matrix TFT Color LCD LED backlit display that gives razor sharp and rich viewing experience with the WXGA resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The granite gray colored outfit looks extremely elegant and can be lugged around easily thanks to its slim profile of 20.3mm and low weight of 1.2kg.
 
Processor and OS
 
At the heart of the laptop, you can find a fourth generation Intel Core i3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and paired with a mere 2GB DDR3 RAM. The RAM's capacity can be increased up to 8GB via the memory slots available. The laptop misses out an external graphics card and uses the Intel HD 4400 GPU for managing the same. The device runs on Google Chrome OS which is undoubtedly its main USP.

With the CrystalEye HD webcam, the Acer C720-3871 (NX.SHEAA.018) gives impressive online video calling experience. For retrieving files speedily, it houses a SSD storage capacity of 32GB. The absence of any separate HDD can pose storage problems for the user.
 
The notebook carries dual stereo speakers delivering HD audio solution to please the user. An Acer FineTip keyboard and a multi touch gesture supported touchpad take care of the input requirements.
