First of all I want to comment that flipkart has the fastest delivery service. Received this laptop within 48 hours of ordering. Now the laptop I would say is the best in this price range. Don't hesitate to buy this model, I am writing this review after using the product for two weeks now. This product really performs very well and has about 4 to 5 hours of battery life. It is very light in weight considering that it has a 15.6 inch screen. I also received a 15% cashback as bought it using a standard chartered card. All in all a very great deal.
Came with many manuals. Windows 8 pre-installed, works reasonably fast (slightly difficult to get used to, becomes easy to work with once you know the shortcut keys). Comes with pre-installed IE, MS Office trial version, some games and kindle app, acer cloud, image-capture software (impressive), Acer's clear-fi media player etc. You need to get these installed : MS office or Open Office.... Your fav. browser - chrome, firefox...... VLC player... Windows media centre is missing too. The position of the mouse pointer pad is uncomfortable... it is quite on the left.. and right-handed persons may require getting used to it. The scroller on the right is cool. 2-finger gestures and others are supported on this pointing pad. The battery runs upto 5 hours before you need to plug it in again. Light enough to be your LAP-top. A laptop bag/ sleeve within the deal would have been greatly appreciated.
