Display and Configuration
With the Acer E1-532 (NX.MFVAA.006), comes a 15.6-inch cinecrystal active matrix TFT color LCD display with LED backlight. It has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium OS sailing upon 64-bit architecture. The system is driven by an Intel Celeron dual core 2957U processor powered at a clock speed of 1.4GHz. Coupling it up, is a 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 card. The user can increase the RAM capacity upto 8GB for better multitasking performance. The laptop is available in black coloured body.
Camera and Battery
The user can get in touch with his/her close ones over video calling with the help of a webcam armed above the display screen. It can record videos at HD resolution say 720 x 1,280 pixels. One can also shoot videos and post it in networking sites such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo etc. Acting as an energy provider, is a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup for around four hours.
Storage and Connectivity
On the storage ground, the laptop houses a 500GB SATA hard disk (5,400RPM speed), where one can save a large number of different files. A Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 3.0 slot, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port are the connectivity options present in the Acer E1-532 (NX.MFVAA.006).
