The Acer Aspire E5-571 (NX.ML8SI.004) laptop is a very good choice for the user in this price segment. The powerful processor renders smooth functioning in the system, making it easy for the user to run multiple apps at the same time. You can keep the entertainment on for long hours, thanks to the outstanding battery backup. However, the laptop runs on Linux, thereby an extra budget adds up if you are a Windows OS lover.

The Acer Aspire E5-571 (NX.ML8SI.004) laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch active matrix TFT colour LCD LED backlight display and has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.For driving the system, there is a 1.7GHz Intel core i5-4210U processor aided by 4GB of DDR3 RAM which is expandable upto 16GB. The laptop boots on Linux operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture. 

Input Devices, Camera and Storage

Input devices include a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support, a standard keyboard and a DVD writer. For video calling and recording purposes, there is a webcam (Acer Crystal Eye) above the bezel and an inbuilt microphone is also present inside the system. As far as the storage is concerned, the laptop houses a 500GB SATA hard disk which revolves at a speed of 5,400RPM.

Battery and Connectivity

Acting as an energy provider, is a 6 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup upto six hours. On the connectivity ground, the laptop offers options such as Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, one USB 3.0 slot, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack and a microphone jack.
