Despite being priced competitively, the Acer Aspire E5-571 (Nx.Ml8Si.005) comes with some impressive features which make it a sound deal. These include a powerful Intel Core i3 processor, quality webcam, powerful optical drive and a long lasting battery. It runs on an unfamiliar OS which can be replaced easily.

The Acer Aspire E5-571 (Nx.Ml8Si.005) features a 15.6-inch HD ComfyView LED backlit TFT LCD display offering modest viewing experience with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The outfit has a simple design with black colour, a thickness of 25.3mm and tips the scale at 2.5kg. 

Processor and Platform

Under the hood, the Acer Aspire E5-571 (Nx.Ml8Si.005) is packed with a 1.9GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the fourth generation family. It works in combination with a paltry 2GB DDR3 RAM which can of course be further expanded up to 8GB with the help of 2 unused DIMM slots. The Intel HD GPU makes sure that the laptop doesn't cause much lag while running rich games and movies. It runs on 64 bit Ubuntu OS.

Armed with a Acer Crystal Eye webcam, the device is capable of recording 720p videos and providing impressive video calling experience. The 500GB SATA HDD provides plenty of space for storing files of different kinds. It also has a SuperMulti DVD Drive with DL support allowing you to retrieve files from disks at ease. The stereo speakers powered by MS Sound Compatible technology provide rich multimedia experience.
