The Acer E5-721 (NX.MNDAA.005) is large 17.3-inch HD Widescreen CineCrystal LCD LED display laptop with a pixel resolution of 1,600 x 900 pixels. It arrives in full black colored body with 27.9mm thickness. It consists of Full size Acer FineTip keyboard and precision touchpad as input device.

Hardware and OS

The Acer Aspire laptop works on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 Operating System which is highly reliable and flexible. The machine is AMD Quad Core A8 6310 processor with a processor speed of 1.8 GHz. The RAM capacity is 8GB which is further configurable up to 16GB via memory slots. The graphics processor is AMD Radeon R4 graphics. 

 

Memory and Entertainment

 

The Acer E5-721 (NX.MNDAA.005) (Atom Quad Core A8 / 8 GB / 1 TB / Windows 8.1 ) notebook packs a ginormous 1TB of SATA type Hard disk drive (HDD) with 5400 rpm. For video chatting and other webcam related activities, it sports an Acer Crystal Eye make webcam. The audio units include stereo speakers with HD Audio solution and built-in microphone. The graphics processor allows games that doesn’t require high graphics memory. In order to transfer, disk data to CDs and DVDs, it is provided with 8 x DVD +RW DL (M-DISC enabled) optical drive.

 

Battery and connectivity

For the purpose of connectivity and networking purposes, the Acer E5-721 (NX.MNDAA.005) notebook holds Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB port, Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, USB ports, Digital Media Reader, HDMI port etc. The battery is 4-cell li-ion battery which gives up to 4 hours of uninterrupted laptop usage.
