Display and Build

The Acer Aspire E5-771 (NX.MNXEK.002) sports a large and glossy 17.3-inch Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,600 x 900 pixels. The large screen is great for enjoying expanded viewing while watching movies, playing games or reading texts. It is wrapped in a 28mm thick gray coloured outfit which has a weight of 3kg and may prevent you from carrying it around easily.

Processor and OS

Doing the duty under the hood is a 1.8GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the 4th generation family. It is aided by a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM expandable up to 16GB through two unused DIMM ports. The inbuilt Intel HD 4400 GPU is capable of managing simple games and videos well. It ships with the latest Windows 8.1 OS which is extremely easy to use.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The Acer Aspire E5-771 (NX.MNXEK.002) features a Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam which manages high resolution video calls smoothly. The dual microphone further enhances your experience. With the huge 1TB hard disk, you'll hardly feel the lack of space even in the years to come. It also has a DVD Writer which can be used for exchanging data via disks. The MS Sound Compatible powered stereo speakers provide crisp multimedia experience.

Fuelled by a 4 cell Li-ion battery, the Acer Aspire E5-771 (NX.MNXEK.002) promises up to 4 hours of backup. Connectivity features include 2 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, HDMI out, digital media reader and VGA port.
