Overall: The product is very good for the price. We have to separately install latest distribution of Linux for the laptop. I have installed latest Ubuntu version, it is working fine. Please mention in the specifications that you are providing Command line ...

If we consider the the Acer Aspire ES1-131 (NX.MYKSI.024) Netbook reviews in India, the brand has done quite well in all price ranges since its inception. The configuration, which is fed in this laptop, is commendable, especially with the price at which it comes. However, if the processor would have been upgraded a little, the story would have been much better. But still, if you have a meagre budget, you can pick this laptop out of its peers, it fulfils the need.

Display, Configuration and Build

With a compact 11.6-inch screen, the Acer Aspire ES1-131 (NX.MYKSI.024) Netbook showcases an Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD ComfyView LED display with a screen resolution of  1,366 x 768 pixels. Powered by a Intel Celeron Dual-Core N3060 processor, which is paired with a 2GB DDR3 type RAM, to give the laptop a decent performance. The RAM, if not sufficient, can be expanded further upto 8GB.

Coming to the physical structure of the Acer Aspire, it comes with a very basic design with a black casing and weighs about 1.2kg. The touchpad comes with Multi-touch Gestures support and the keypad is in the form of standard keyboard.

Connectivity, Battery and Storage

For the connectivity section, the Acer Aspire ES1-131 (NX.MYKSI.024) Netbook offers an ethernet port 10/100/1000 BASE-T, wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, v4.0 Bluetooth, a slot each for USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and HDMI and a 5-in-1 card reader.

A triple-cell li-ion type battery promises to keep the laptop alive for a good 7 hours at a stretch.. The storage department is taken care of by a 500GB SATA which is capable of generating a speed of 5,400RPM .
