Verdict

The Acer Aspire ES1-572 (UN.GD0SI.001) laptop is a true performer with very good battery backup. The processor outputs quality performance in the system and can face multitasking at ease. The laptop misses out dedicated GPU which is very common around this budget. Thereby, high end apps and games which demand extra graphics will not run in this laptop.

Display and Configuration

The Acer Aspire ES1-572 (UN.GD0SI.001) laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit Acer cinecrystal TFT LCD display and features a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Inside the system, there is an Intel core i3-6100U processor from the sixth generation. It is assisted by 4GB of DDR3 RAM which can be expanded upto 16GB. An inbuilt Intel HD 520 GPU is there to take care of visualisation output. The laptop boots on Linux operating system. 

Battery and Connectivity

The laptops gets its energy from a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to result a backup upto 6.5 hours. For networking and sharing, the laptop offers options namely - Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, one USB 3.0 slot, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a SD card reader.

Input Devices, Camera and Storage

In order to input data in the system, there are two common devices - a touchpad with multi-touch gestures support and an Acer finetip keyboard. A CD/DVD writer comes as an additional package. The laptop is stacked with a webcam and digital microphone for video calling, capturing images and recording purposes. One can create a library of files in the 500GB SATA hard disk which has a speed of 5,400 revolutions per minute.
